FAQ Wedding

frequently asked questions

How many images will you deliver from our wedding?

Typically you’ll receive 500 - 800 images, depending on how many hours of wedding cover- age you choose. I take great care in selecting the very best images from the many hundreds captured during your day. Those final images are then edited, retouched, and culled again, until they’re ready to deliver to you.

How long after the wedding, until we receive our images?
You’ll have your images in 4-8 weeks from your wedding day, as well as sneak peek images available within a week of your big day.
Do we pay for rights to our images?
Never. Capturing and delivering brilliant images of your wedding is my passion and purpose. You have full rights to your images and are free to share, print, and archive them as you like.
What types of products do you offer? Do you do prints and albums?
A variety of products, including professional prints, art wraps, and albums are available. From a simple flush-mounted coffee table book to an exquisite hand-crafted album, I believe this beautiful keepsake should inspire conversation and memories for a lifetime. I am also proud to say that prints offered are not ink-jet prints but actual photographs made by exposing light sensitive paper. Their quality is outstanding. As well, for your friends and family, I offer digital image files in addition to prints. You, and those you choose, can order using your gallery. More details below.
How do we use our client gallery?

Your password gallery allows you, and anyone you share with, to view your wedding day highlights, and/or engagement session. It also acts as a tool to order prints or other products, if desired. Your gallery is available for 8 weeks. If you need longer, just ask.

What is the standard length of time for wedding photography coverage?

The length of time is entirely up to you, though I recommend a minimum of 4 hours. 8 hours is very common.

Will we meet you before the wedding?

Absolutely. Meeting at a restaurant or cafe is a great time to gather your initial needs, and preferences. Even better, if you’re planning on an engagement shoot, you’ll get the first hand experience of working together, as well as getting to know one another in a more relaxed context before the big day.

Will you travel outside of Oregon for our wedding?

Of course! Destination weddings are fantastic. Among my favorites are Santa Fe, New Mexico, and almost anywhere on the beach. Depending on location, travel and lodging are generally provided by the couple. Please contact with your specific details.

How did you get into wedding photography?

I shot my best friend’s wedding right out of college and fell in love with it. The idea that I was capturing her day for her was a gratifying challenge. On such a sweet and fleeting occasion, I wanted to give her a gift that she would absolutely love. I’m happy to say that some 15 years later, their wedding kiss is still framed above their mantle.

Will you accept a list of must-have shots? When will you need it by?

Absolutely. Knowing what’s important to you on your wedding day is a key element to capturing it successfully. You can provide your own list if you have one, or ask for one of Toor Photo’s shot lists to look over. Having the list a month or more ahead of your wedding is great, and gives me ample time to become familiar with it, ask any questions, etc.

Do you have references we can contact?

Yes. Please just ask. I also have Client Raves you can read here.

How can we book you?

When you are ready to book, simply email or call. We can work out details and I will e-mail you an agreement to sign.
A 50% retainer is due to reserve your wedding date; remainder due on your wedding day, unless otherwise arranged.
